I'm very proud to announce that all the free paperbacks, coloring books, VHS tapes, and software CD's that were listed at RescuedBooks Free have been sent to new owners.

 RescuedBooks Free will now be listing places to find other free books. There have been many new  wonderful national book swap sites started in the past year, and I'm a member of several.

I can wholeheartedly recommend PaperBackSwap.  I have sent books to other members and received books from other members and it is a wonderful, easy-to-use service.

Another new book swap service is Bookins, which is geared more toward hardback books. I've just started using this service and have "ordered" books from members.

Another interesting service is BookCrossing, the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. Although not exactly a book swap, members can request books from each other.
